Entry #3 "How to cite sources"


There are several ways to cite a source (MLA, Turabian, Chicago). Here you have APA Citation Style.

  • Use only the initials of the authors' first (and middle) names.
  • If no author is given, start with the title and then the date.
  • Magazine articles: include the month (and day) as shown under Newspapers.
  • Websites: if the date the page was created is not given, use (n.d.).

Metacognitive analysis:

While doing this job I realized all the necessary work we as students must pay attention to while looking for information. I believe that students have to take this data into account and know from which source they got the information and thus be able to work with that source and quote it appropriately.
